Unit 1 Math Test 

Ro/Pendse will take the test on Monday, August 18th

Kriss/Kintzer will take the test on Tuesday, August 19th.

STUDY GUIDE UNIT 1 TEST

In Part A, you will need to be able to:

·                Draw arrays of a number.

·                List all factors of a number.

·                Know and explain the difference between a prime and composite number.

·                Identify the best Factor Captor Strategies.

·                Identify even numbers/odd numbers, square numbers, multiples, and factors.

·                Place value puzzles (like in Math Boxes).

·                Be able to write numerals in words.

In Part B, you will be asked to:

·                Write the prime factorization of a number.

·                Write the prime factorization of a number using exponents.

·                Square numbers.

·                Use divisibility rules to come up with a number that satisfies those rules. (For example, what is a 4 digit number that is divisible by 3 and 5?)
