Unit 2 Math Test

 UNIT 2 STUDY GUIDE

That math test will be on Thursday, September 18th.  

Here are the concepts covered this unit and the corresponding pages in the math book.  

·       Addition and subtraction of whole numbers and decimals.  Page 31 box 1, page 32, 33, 35.
·       Identify place value of digits.  Page 31 box 2, page 36 box 2, page 46 box 1 
·       Multiply whole numbers and decimals.  Page 47, 50, 51,54, 55
·       Make magnitude estimates and explain why they are useful.  Page 45, 47, 50, 51, 54, 55.
·       Describe given numerical probabilities (very likely, unlikely, extremely likely) Page 43, 48
·       Know how to find the maximum, minimum, range, mode, and median of a data set. Page 41, Page 53 box 2 and box 3, page 28 box 2.
·       Write numbers in expanded notation.  Page 32 numbers one and two, page 39 box 4,
·       Write and solve number sentences.  Page 37, 38, 52
