Journey Through the Digestive System (Mrs. Kriss' classes only)

This is the digestive system.  The function of the
digestive system is to break down food (i.e pizza)
into tiny chemicals that are absorbed into the
bloodstream to provide nutrients to the cells.

What is the path food takes as it travels through the digestive system? What "hazards" or "dangers" does it face? How does the physical and chemical form of the food change as it travels through the system? What causes these changes?

Your assignment is to record foods journey through the digestive system. Choose to be creative by personifying the food and the journey but don't lose the details. Illustrations are a great way to enhance the story.

You have until Thursday 6 November to record and publish the journey to your blog.
