A Message From Graded's Nurses

All students that visit the nurse’s office are required to “sign-in” through the Health Kiosk upon their arrival. This means the students will input their name and the reason they came to the nurse’s office on the computer, with the nurse’s assistance. The nurses evaluate the child and then update the Nurse’s Visit form to indicate what action was taken to treat the child’s symptom or complaint. An automatic notification will be sent to the parents providing the information from the Nurse Visit form. The school nurses will not contact parents by telephone for minor cuts, scrapes, bruises, or complaints. However, they will continue to call parents for more complicated injuries, permission to medicate for fevers and/or headaches, and/or persistent symptoms that may require further medical attention.

Please take time to update any medical information about your child and/or medications that nurses are authorized to administer to your child. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact the school nurses, Juliana or Daiane, at 3747-4846. The nurse’s office hours are 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.
