October 1st news
Dear Parents
October will be a busy month for the Portuguese 5th grade students!
Besides being involved in preparing for the Student Led Conferences and continue studying the language structures and vocabulary, the 5th graders are about to end their projects related to the parts of the river and the shared reading of the book A Ilha Perdida ( the latter PLA Advanced students only). These are going to be big events for our students in which they will share their learning with their classmates and our school community.
We would like to point out the importance of students reading their Portuguese books throughout the week and bringing them back on the following Fridays, so that the book reading activities can be carried out in classes.
PLA After School: Thursdays - 3:15 to 4pm
