Mayan Simulation Journal Entries

Task:  You will be responsible for completing two entries in the shared journal during the simulation.  Each of your entries will be written in the point of view of a different role.  For example, you might take on the point of view of Noble Lord and High Priest.  Entries should be at least two paragraphs long, written in first person, and edited carefully for conventions (spelling, punctuation, and capitalization).  At the end of the simulation, all entries will be collected and put together in a shared city-state journal.  You will also decorate the cover of your journal during any spare time you have during the simulation.  The images that you use to decorate your journal should represent your city-state.  Click here for an example of an entry.

High Priest	The Almighty and Powerful God, Chac	Letter to the Almighty and Powerful God, Chac	You are still searching for information to complete the secret codex and unlock the secrets of your ancestors.  In your journal entry, describe one secret that you have found out about and how it impacts the future of your people.
Ambassador	The Almighty and Powerful God, Chac	Journal	You have just come back from a long and tough day of trading.  Although you are trying your best to please The Almighty and Powerful Chac, you still don’t have what you need for the next sacrifice.  In your journal entry, describe a challenge that you faced during trading as well as how you will please Chac in the next sacrifice.
