Character development is the change that a character undergoes from the beginning of a story to the end. You will explain how Charlotte Doyle has developed as a character throughout the novel. Make sure to refer to the following points in your blog post:
- Conflicts: What conflicts does Charlotte face at the beginning/end of the novel? Make sure you name a wide variety of problems, not just one. How does she solve these conflicts?
- Attitudes: How does Charlotte feel about herself at the beginning/end of the novel? How does Charlotte feel about others at the beginning/end of the novel? (You may choose to focus on one specific character.) How does Charlotte feel about the world at the beginning/end of the novel?
Your post should be at least two paragraphs and include evidence in the form of direct quotations or paragraphed passages.
